Water detector Heiman HS2WL-R with networking

The Heiman HS2WL-R is an interconnectable water leak sensor that reliably protects your home from water damage. The compact, battery-powered sensor requires no wiring and can be placed anywhere a leak might occur – such as under a washing machine, dishwasher, sink, or in the basement.

Interconnected alarm system – “One alerts, all alert”

• Up to 40 devices can be interconnected: A maximum of 40 HS2WL-Rs can be linked together in one group – if one detector is triggered, they all sound an alarm.
• Long range: Wireless communication via 868 MHz with a range of up to 200 m in open fields (model-dependent, observe environmental conditions).
• Ideal for larger properties: Perfect for single-family homes, apartment buildings, basement areas, utility rooms, or commercial units.

Protection against water damage

• Early leak detection: Detects leaking water and triggers a local alarm immediately.
• Audible alarm: A loud signal tone of approx. 75 dB at a distance of 1 m provides reliable warning.
• Optional notification: In conjunction with compatible gateways/hubs, notifications can be sent to your smartphone (system-dependent).

Robust and durable

• IP67 protection class: Dust-tight and protected against temporary submersion – ideal for permanently damp or at-risk areas.
• For demanding environments: Operating temperature from 0 to 50 °C and up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
• Compact dimensions: Diameter approx. 69 mm, height approx. 27.6 mm – unobtrusive and easy to place.

Installation & commissioning

1. Insert the battery (CR123A) into the HS2WL-R.
2. Place the sensor flat on the floor at the desired location.
3. If necessary, interconnect additional HS2WL-Rs in the same group (max. 40 devices).
4. Optional: Connect to a compatible wireless hub / smart home gateway to use notifications and scenes (system-dependent).
