Project Aura Custom PCB

The Project Aura Custom PCB replaces several individual breakout boards and significantly reduces the wiring in the Project Aura setup. Instead of many separate modules and cluttered cable connections, the board consolidates central functions directly onto one board.

Integrated Functions

• Integrated barometric pressure sensor
• Integrated RTC module for the real-time clock
• Direct connection for the Sensirion SEN66, including capacitor
• 3x DFRobot/Gravity ports for SFA40, CO sensor, and DAC module
• 1x Grove port
• 2x STEMMA QT / Qwiic ports for I2C expansions
• 4x universal male pin headers for your own or future sensors

Simple connection to the Waveshare ESP32-S3

The PCB is connected directly to the Waveshare ESP32-S3 board. This is done using the cable included with the Waveshare board. No special adapters or repinning are required.

Compatibility

The Project Aura Custom PCB was developed specifically for building the Project Aura air quality sensor. It serves as the central connection unit between the Waveshare ESP32-S3 board and the required sensor and expansion modules.
